I started studying the Oboe and English Horn at the age of 6 in Rome with Maestro Mercuri and later with Maestros Mutalipassi in L'Aquila and Tomasi and Cassetta in Trento.
From the age of ten I was a pupil in Rome and Fermo of Maestro Francesco Di Rosa (1st Oboe of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia) with whom I obtained two Masters of High Education: the first at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the second at the Regia Accademia Filarmonica in Bologna.
I have also gained further Masters with the world's greatest Oboe Masters: Leleux (France), Mayer (Germany), Schilli (England), Thouand (France), Daniels (England), Ogrintchouk (Holland), Ortega Quero (Spain), Orlando (Italy) and Sommerhalder (Germany).
He is attending the Academic Three-year course at the Conservatorio Bonporti in Trento in the 3rd year.
I have already tackled a vast repertoire and have to my credit more than two hundred concerts in Italy and abroad in Philharmonic Orchestras in the role of Soloist, 2nd, 1st Oboe And English Horn often conducted by musicians of the calibre of Accardo, Renzetti, Sollima, Fiore, Lloyd, Guarino, Lanzillotta and many others.
I had the opportunity to perform in numerous concert halls including "La Camera dei Deputati" in Rome and in more than fifty national and international competitions winning the 1st Absolute Prize also in France, Hong Kong, Poland, Austria and England.
In 2021 I was also awarded the "Premio Nazionale delle Arti" (National Arts Prize) organised by the "Ministero dell'Istruzione dell'Università e della Ricerca".
On 14 November 2021, I was interviewed by Monica Setta on Rai Uno for "Uno Mattina in Famiglia" and on that same day the programme achieved record ratings with more than 2 million viewers.
