Her performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, together with George Benson in 2009 and with Benjamin Hermann in 2012 demonstrates her interest in crossover.
Estela holds a deep passion for both classical and world music. She continues to develop that passion in younger generations through teaching and giving workshops for young children and adults, from beginners to advance levels.
Estela teaches privately in The Hague and as well as online lessons.
Besides her soloist education and performing career, Estela also took additional courses in Basics on arrangements and composition (software MuseScore & Sibelius), Emotional Intelligence in Education and Stress, Management in Education, and Mindfulness. In her lessons, Estela incorporates the Alexander and Feldenkrais Techniques.
Estela is playing on a viola made in 2020 by Daniël Royé and on a saxophone Selmer super action 80 Serie II with Mark VII silver neck.
