Benedetta Ferracin earned her bachelor’s degree in recorder in 2019 at the Conservatory “A. Steffani” of Castelfranco Veneto (TV) with Maestro Simone Erre. Currently she is carrying out her specialization, in the same Conservatory always under the guidance of Maestro Simone Erre, flanking the study of the recorder with the others didactic disciplines.

Her musical teaching activity began in 2018 as an external teacher at the Istituto comprensivo statale of Mirano (VE) in the primary school "A. Azzolini "and in kindergartens" C. Collodi "and "Villa Saggiotti". Since 2019-2020 she is teacher of recorder at the Municipal Music School “A. Miari” in Belluno, affiliated with the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto.

She has taken many instrumental and ensemble specialization classes with internationally renowned teachers, some of which are: Dan Laurin, Walter van Hauwe, Alfredo Bernardini, Antonio Carrilho, Carsten Eckert, Dorothee Oberlinger, Maurice Steger, Marco Berrini and Juan Manuel Quintana. She also attended a seminar on the peculiar instrument practice of the Quarto libro de’ Madrigali by Claudio Monteverdi with Maestro Giovanni Acciai and a masterclass on breathing with Maestro Andrea Conti.

She already boasts several concerts to her credit, with important ensembles of early music at prestigious institutions such as the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Early Music Festival in Parma and the Antica Prattica of Tavernola Bergamasca. She has also performed at important International Festivals, such as: Ravenna Festival Vespri a San Vitale, Le mani sapienti in Milan, Mo.Ca. Suona in Brescia, Festival Onde Musicali sul Lago di Iseo between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, Festival Musica Antica Note e Sapori in Polcenigo (PN), Festival Musica negli Horti in San Quirico d'Orcia (SI), Festival Biblico and Musica & Museo in Vicenza, I Concerti della Domenica in Marostica (VI), Giovani in Musica in Treviso, Musica antica in Casa Giorgione, Le Trame del Giorgione, Note in Chiostro e Ville in Musica in Castelfranco Veneto (TV), Gioie Musicali in Asolo (TV) and I Tesori di Orfeo in Pavia.

She currently performs an intense concert activity with several ensembles specialized in the repertoire of early music. In particular with the Accademia Il Giardino delle Muse, directed by Maestro Simone Erre, in which she performs a repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st Century, with the ensemble strumentale barocco Daltrocanto directed by Maestro Paolo Zuccheri and with the ensemble Voices, Winds & Viols, born inside the “A. Steffani " Conservatory.

Together with the Accademia Il Giardino delle Muse she also participated as a recorder player in several lectures-concerts held by Maestro Simone Erre, such as: "Il Suono del Romanico: Musica e Arte tra il XII e XIII secolo. Una panoramica.” (The Romanic Sound: Music and Art between the XII and XIII century. An overview.) held at the "Politeama" Cinema Theater in Pavia and previously took part in the conference-concert entitled "Musica a Versaille, una lunga Storia d’amore” (Music in Versailles, a long love story) at Palazzo Morello in Castelfranco Veneto.

In 2018 her first recording was released. It is entitled "Fantasia sopra La sol fa re mi" entirely dedicated to Italian music from the 16th to the 21st Century and it was edited by Studio Recording of Treviso with the ensemble Accademia Il Giardino delle Muse directed by Maestro Simone Erre. A CD is coming soon, with the ensemble strumentale barocco Daltrocanto directed by Maestro Paolo Zuccheri on a sacred music program composed by contemporary authors.
